- Wash your hands carefully before changing or touching your piercing jewelry
- Disinfect and clean the piercing jewelry and the piercing with a professional body piercing saline solution
- Slightly open the segment nose ring by gently twisting the ends, one to each side
- Avoid twisting too much to prevent damaging the jewelry
- Insert the segment nose ring into the piercing hole
- Fit it into place and make sure the segment is aligned with the ends inside the nose so that only the smooth ring is visible
