Hydra 100 Autoclave
The Hydra 100 Autoclave is a fully automatic, easy-to-use N-class autoclave that performs sterilisation cycles at 125°C in just 15 minutes. It has a capacity of 9 litres and complies with Directive 93/42/EEC on small steam sterilisers.
This autoclave is equipped with a heating element placed under the sterilisation chamber that allows distilled water to be heated to 125°C. The pressure created inside the sterilisation chamber, combined with the temperature, allows the instruments to be completely aseptic. In addition, the autoclave is equipped with several sensors that monitor the temperature range, which is preset and cannot be changed to avoid manipulation.
Operation is simple: by turning the knob that controls the sterilisation cycle time, the autoclave starts the heating phase. When it reaches 125°C, a light signals that the sterilisation phase has begun. At the end of the cycle, simply open the ventilation valve and wait 2 minutes. This means that the cycle is complete and the sterilised instruments can be unloaded.
The Hydra 100 Autoclave is equipped with various safety systems, including a thermostat that interrupts the sterilisation cycle in the event of excessive temperature.
