Research and development at Piranha isn’t a lab tucked away in a corner — it’s something embedded in the flow of our studio work, our relationships with the multiple minds in the game, and field testing. Innovation is simply the product of paying close attention.
We step in not to compete
but to complete.
When there’s a need for more precision, greater reliability, and clearer intention, we get to work. From our early black latex gloves and ink cups to our standout needles, cartridges, or our awarded workstation, every product we’ve launched was born from a real gap — something that was missing in the artists’ arsenal and had to be done just right. And if it meant starting from zero, we were all in.
Every tool we design is held under pressure and scrutinized by the most accredited expertsin the field—those who tattoo or pierce for a living and have excelled in it time and time again—and if it doesn’t cut it, it simply doesn’t launch. There’s a room full of prototypeshere, and we’ll gladly keep stacking them.
We’re tuned into tattooing, piercing, and PMU as evolving fields — and only by letting them transform can we hope to shape them.
