Cutasept

Cutasept is a brand name for a topical disinfectant used to prepare the skin before invasive procedures such as body piercing. It is an antiseptic that helps to reduce the presence of bacteria on the skin, minimising the risk of infection.

Cutasept contains isopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol as its active ingredient and can be found in liquid form and is applied to the skin to cleanse and disinfect the area where the procedure will be carried out. It is important to allow the product to dry completely before starting the puncture, as this helps to guarantee the effectiveness of the disinfection.
