Skin preparation is a very important process for the successful application of a stencil design to the skin before tattooing.
Poor skin preparation, whether in terms of hygiene and washing, hair removal, or the process of removing oils and grease, are factors that contribute to some of the most common problems in stencil application, such as difficulty in fixing or the ease with which the design fades during tattooing.
Inkjet Stencil Prep has been formulated to successfully combat all these constraints and, together with INKJET INK pigment and INKJET STENCIL PAPER, combines all the elements for a clear, solid, and long-lasting stencil throughout the tattoo.
Although recommended for use with the rest of the INKJET range, it is compatible with other solutions and brands on the market.

How to Use
How to Use
- Clean and shave the skin before applying INKJET STENCIL PREP.
- Spray a small amount of INKJET PREP onto the area to be tattooed.
- Spread and massage evenly into the skin.
- Remove everything with paper to clean and dry the skin of all chemicals and oils present on the skin.
- Repeat the spraying of INKJET PREP.
- Allow to air dry and wait until the skin feels sticky to the touch.
- Apply INKJET STENCIL PAPER (printed image) to the skin and press for 30 seconds so that the pigment from the stencil penetrates the skin.
- Press firmly for 30 to 60 seconds, without shaking the stencil, in order to transfer the stencil without smudging or duplicating lines.
- Wait for the stencil to dry in the open air before starting the tattoo.
- If the stencil fails or does not meet expectations, use a stencil removal solution and repeat the entire process.
