Ink Machines Dragonfly X2 comes equipped with the Swiss X2 motor, exclusive to this model. This high-performance 6W motor has an energy efficiency of 86% and is ideally used with the RPS-600 battery. The stroke length is adjustable, with three options (2.6mm, 3.7mm, and 4.5mm), with the default set at 3.7mm. To change the stroke, the tool kit that comes with the Dragonfly X2 is required.
This machine works with both traditional needles and cartridges. When using cartridges, the Stay Up spring must be removed to avoid motor strain and ensure proper operation. The Dragonfly X2 features a cover that provides quick access to the Stay Up spring, making it extremely easy to remove and insert the spring when switching between different needle types.
